CONTENT: Licensed counselors, psychologists, other health professionals, researchers and students will benefit from these recordings. The four easy-to-digest lesson recordings in this class on troubled youth provide instruction on the applicability of neurofeedback and biofeedback to the treatment of troubled youth. The course introduces an approach to treating adolescent problems with neurofeedback, biofeedback and counseling. It provides an overview of treatment considerations and strategies to maximize neurofeedback and biofeedback modalities. It answers some of the questions about comorbidity in Troubled Youth for such disorders as ADHD, Addictions, Anxiety disorders and Social Disorders. After viewing the class recordings participants will have a basic understanding of neurofeedback and biofeedback for troubled youth, they will be aware of how biofeedback can be used; they will have seen a demonstration of a session recording with a real patient, and they will be able to start to consider how biofeedback and neurofeedback may be of benefit at their location.
