KIRKPATRICK'S
VOICE MASTER CLASS
RECORDING AUG 2012
In this master class session, originally recorded in August 2012, Dr. Kirkpatrick leads the viewer through a typical coaching session with a young soprano music student, which includes training and strengthening vocal performance using EMG biofeedback equipment and the voice suite software.
This recording is an excellent example of a session where EMG biofeedback is used with a subject, to improve the teaching approach of better vocal performance and higher sound quality. The recording includes both the warm-up (without biofeedback), training (with biofeedback), observations and discussions with the singer and participants.
Please note that due to the nature of the musical performance, it may be necessary to turn-up the speaker volume when recorded participants are talking , and turn-down the speaker volume when the participants are performing singing exercises.
