EVIDENCE-BASED EEG
INTERVENTIONS FOR BRAIN
DISORDERS ONLINE
CLASS RECORDING

Clinicians and health practitioners sometimes enter the field by working with
one or a limited population type. As they gain experience, their practical
focus widens to include a greater variety of conditions. This 6-hour online
class recording provides an overview of the current neurofeedback research for evidence-based
treatments of common brain conditions and disorders.
 Using qEEG references,
brain pattern images and clinical markers, Linda Walker discussed the following
  conditions and concepts:
•
  Autism and it's 4 primary phenotypes;
•
  ADHD and its subtypes
•
Concussion/ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) - from the classes of injury, to the
  continuum of treatment, including post-acute recovery and ongoing recovery;
•
  Tinnitus
•
  Depression
•
Aging Disorders, such as Dementia and Alzheimer's (as well as the qEEG as a
  predictor)
•
  Learning and Memory, including Dyslexia
•
  Anxiety
•
Neuropsychiatric Disorders, such as OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder
  (BPD)
•
  Stuttering
•
  Epilepsy
•
Brief discussion of multiple sclerosis (MS) and alcoholism
This recording will be extremely beneficial to intermediate and experienced
qEEG and neurofeedback practitioners, as well as health practitioners entering
the world of interventions for more difficult client cases.
Note: All views expressed in the recording are solely those of the presenters
and participants and not those of the BFE.
