DR. MONASTRA'S ADHD
EXPERT OPINION RECORDING
CE Credit for psychologists is granted on a one credit per one contact
In this 45-minute grand rounds recording, Dr. Vince Monastra reviews two case presentations by attending clinicians. The cases include:
- An 11 year old boy with attention and motor difficulties who had a history of assessments over the years, but nothing indicative for treatment. During an interview with a medical professional, suicidal thoughts were expressed.
- A 10-year old boy with a high level of distractibility and behavioural issues that might indicate Asperger’s syndrome.
The session includes a discussion of conflicting diagnoses with different assessments; examples of other non-psychological screening tools to perform with individuals and interesting tools as apps for smart phones and iPods.
Note: Individuals are not required to own the ADHD Assessment Suite to benefit from knowledge in this recording.
All views expressed in the recording are solely those of the presenters
