ADHD MONASTRA-LUBAR ASSESSMENT ONLINE CLASS RECORDING
In these four 90-minute easy-to-digest recorded lessons, Jon Bale, the BFE Research Manager, instructs on how to get started with the BFE Monastra-Lubar Limited Edition ADHD Assessment software suite. This class is for both inexperienced or veteran neurofeedback practitioners that are interested adopting Dr. Monastra and Dr. Lubar’s assessment methods for their practice. The class covers the equipment & material preparation, assessment recording using the suite, cleaning artifacts out before data analysis and interpretation of results based on recorded norms.
The exact breakdown of each lesson is as follows:
Lesson 1 - Review of the ADHD condition, along with its domains of impairment, and a brief review of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, Genetics, neurochemistry and QEEG studies related to ADHD. Overview of ADHD Assessment suite's in relation to basis on Monastra, Lubar et al. 1999 published paper, and comparison to other popular forms of ADHD evaluation.
Lessons 2 and 3 - Live recording of ADHD Assessment session, with detailed description of hardware hook-up, software navigation, assessment material, EEG waveform and artifact identification/avoidance. Detailed description of how to perform EEG artifacting and ADHD Assessment report data interpretation, based on Monastra, Lubar et al. 1999 published paper.
Lesson 4 - Dr. Monastra attends the session to provide clinical experience on intake, assessment and treatment of ADHD clients. He also provides personalized analysis and interpretation of case from the attending clinicians.
