EVOKED & SLOW CORTICAL POTENTIALS

This advanced course provides a background to Evoked and Event-Related Potentials (EP/ERP) and Slow Cortical Potentials (SCP) in neurofeedback. The course covers the use of specialized software display screens created for the Thought Technology Infiniti Instrumentation to record P300 responses, audio or visual evoked and event-related potentials, and slow cortical potentials, and view them using individual responses or multi-trial averages, with absolute or relative baseline. The course also provides an introduction to the use of the Infiniti software editors (Developer Tools) to create or revise the display screens specifically for use with evoked and slow cortical potentials.

MONDAY'S
JUNE 1/8/15/22
9:00-10:30 AM EDT
15:00-16:30 GMT+1

Dates:
HEADACHES

This advanced course provides an introduction to the use of the Infiniti software editors (Developer Tools) to create or revise existing software suites. The 6-hour online course introduces licensed health professionals to the use of biofeedback and relaxation techniques used by biofeedback therapists and other health professionals that treat patients with headaches. The course includes biofeedback display screens used in clinical practice and supported by published research and an introduction to the use of the Infiniti software editors (Developer Tools) to create or revise display screens specifically for headaches with biofeedback.

HEART RATE VARIABILITY (HRV) TRAINING

This course is APA approved for 6 CEU credits.

This 6-hour intermediate online course introduces licensed health professionals to the measurement of heart rate variability (HRV) from an EKG signal or from peripheral blood flow (HR/BVP). The course includes specialized software display screens to support a variety of convergent training strategies to produce increased heart rate variability. The course introduces the concepts of heart rate variability (HRV) using the Thought Technology Infiniti instrumentation and the BFE HRV Training Suite.

HEMOENCEPHALOGRAPHY (HEG)

This advanced course provides an introduction to the use of the Infiniti software editors (Developer Tools) to create or revise existing software suites. The 6-hour online course focuses on the measurement of Hemoencephalography (HEG), the study of blood flow to the brain. HEG biofeedback is a method to self-regulate regional brain activity by monitoring changes in regional cerebral blood circulation and oxygenation. The course includes specialized software display screens to use the Thought Technology Infiniti instrumentation and the BFE HEG Suite.
