HEMOENCEPHALOGRAPHY (HEG) ONLINE CLASS
CE Credit for psychologists is granted on a one credit per one contact hour basis.

This class is comprised of four 90-minute lessons, that provides 6-hours of real-time, online instruction from Elizabeth Tegan or Dr. Ernesto Korenman on methods for HEG biofeedback. Hemoencephalography (HEG) is the study of blood flow to the brain. HEG biofeedback is a method to self-regulate regional brain activity by monitoring changes in regional cerebral blood circulation and oxygenation.
This class is for beginner or experienced neurofeedback practitioners that are interested learning more about HEG biofeedback. The class covers HEG theory, the equipment setup and recording of HEG Biofeedback sessions using the Biograph Infiniti system. The type of HEG biofeedback examined can be either passive-infrared (pIR) or near-infrared (nIR), depending on the interest of the participants. The class includes case presentations of typical HEG sessions, as well as review of participant recording data in order to ensure that they are able to record a success HEG session.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For the hands-on virtual classroom demonstrations, the instructor will use BFE Limited Edition Suites and BioGraph Infiniti.
